PAYMENT ISSUES

Do I have to pay online with PayPal?
No. You can choose to pre-register online and pay with a cash or cheque at the event. Cheques can be made out to the Winnipeg Sports Car Club. If you choose not to pre-pay however, you are placed on a waiting list in order of registration date. If the event fills up with pre-paid entrants, you will only get a chance to enter if there are no-shows.

How much does PayPal charge me?
If you sign up for a Personal PayPal account you pay no fees for sending money! The club takes care of all handling and processing fees with their Premier Business Account. Click here for more info: http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_display-fees-outside.

Do I have to use a Credit Card with PayPal?
No. PayPal offers people the option to either use a credit card, or you may use your bank chequing account.

Can I pay sometime after I have already registered?
Unfortunately, not at this time. You have two options, you can pre-register and pay online using PayPal at the time of registration, or you can bring a cash/cheque to the event. If you send in a money payment to the WSCC's PayPal account, we may not see that you have pre-paid because we aren't aware of the payment through the registration system. We are looking to upgrade our registrations system to accept this, but currently it is not supported. Please either pay at the time of pre-registration, or at the event.

How come I'm on the waiting list?
There are two reasons that you may be put on the waiting list. The first is that you choose not to pre-pay with PayPal during online pre-registration. The second is that the event is currently full to it's maximum, and you have been placed on a waiting list. Only people that have pre-paid show up immediately on the entrant list.

What happens if I pre-paid using PayPal and I can't make the event?
You can let us know by sending an email to registrations@wpg-autox.org and we will give you a credit to another event. Please make sure to give us your full name, and the date you registered.

I have a credit, but when I registered the event was full, do I get bumped?
No. Just like if you had tried to pay with PayPal, and the event was full, you will be on the waiting list. Having a credit does not give you the ability to jump everyone in the waiting list if the event is full. If the event is not full, you will be moved from the waiting list into the main entrant list when you have a credit.

REGISTRATION FUNCTIONS

Why is the registration 'locked'?
The registration gets locked until a week before the event so that everyone has a chance to pre-register. Initially we would open events weeks before and we had a lot of problems with online registration filling up with people who had changes to their schedule in the weeks before the event. This became a registration nightmare.

When does the registration usually open?
We usually try to open the online registration a week before the event. This exact time/date isn't cast in stone, so keep a watch on the registration page, or the forums to see when it's opened. You can also use a Windows system tray utility to track when the registration opens. Why are there people registered even though the event is locked?
WSCC Members are given the option to pay for the entire year up front. These people are automatically registered and pre-paid for each of the Autocross events for the season.

Who should I contact if I have to cancel my registration?
Please send an email to registrations@wpg-autox.org with your full name, and registration date. We will remove your registration information for you.

Who should I contact if I have to change my registration info?
Please send an email to registrations@wpg-autox.org with your full name, and registration date. We will edit your registration information for you.

REGISTRATION OPTIONS

How do I sign up for my own number?
If you would like your own number, you must be a WSCC member. If you are already a member, please check this list: http://www.wpg-autox.org/profiles/2005members.shtml to see what numbers are available, and then you can send an email to registrations@wpg-autox.org. Please include your full name and car information.

Can I pre-pay for the entire season?
You can sign up for the entire season if you are a WSCC member. Please check out the Season Pass form here: SeasonPass. We only sell a limited number per year.

How do I get my WSCC Membership?
You can either sign up online here: http://wscc.wpg-autox.org/membership/index.shtml, or you can download this form: http://wscc.wpg-autox.org/club/member_form.shtml, print it off, and mail it to the WSCC Membership Director. The mailing information is on the PDF form.

Does my car need to pass a technical inspection?
Yes it does. Contact our technical inspector David P at autoxtech@wscc.mb.ca to arrange an appointment. For weeknight events, You must have your car inspected prior to the event and not at the event. For weekend events, our technical inspectors will be there at 9am when the gates open for technical inspections. Without this, you will not be allowed to race.
